Job Overview:
Crown Hospital One Day Surgery is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Sonographer to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, supporting accurate diagnosis, and ensuring exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecological, musculoskeletal, and vascular scans.
Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure accurate image acquisition for diagnostic purposes.
Work closely with physicians to provide clear images and relevant clinical findings.
Evaluate imaging results and ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the procedure.
Prepare patient reports and document findings in the EMR system.
Ensure machines are maintained, calibrated, and functioning properly.
Follow hospital protocols, infection control, and safety guidelines.
Assist in preparing patients and explaining the procedure to reduce anxiety.
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the department.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Imaging / Sonography .
Valid DOH / HAAD License
Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Sonographer (UAE experience preferred).
Strong technical skills with various ultrasound modalities.
Excellent communication, patient handling, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a one-day surgery environment with efficiency and accuracy.
